Vibrant red in
colour with very purple hues. This
premium Australian Shaiz shows up an intense
spicy, fragrant bouquet together with
stylish elegant beery fruit flavors on the
palate. This attractive Shiraz should be
served at room temperature.
Winemaker's
notes:
Light and distinctive for its spicy cherry
and anise flavors, which echo nicely on the
soft finish.

When wine production began in Australia during
the early 1800's the wines produced were rich
and sweet, typical of a warm climate, and for
the most part, just used locally. However, using
modern technology, Australia began to produce
popular table wines that rivaled the wines in
the west. Currently Australia is the third
largest exporter of wine to the U.S., behind
only France and Italy. Teal Lake is Royal Wine
Corporation's first Australian wine, with four
varietals available - a Cabernet-Merlot, a
Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir, and a Shiraz.
